Over the last 8 years Vanaheim Swedish Vallhunds have had 4 litters of puppies who have gone on to be wonderful Companion Pets, Agility, Obedience, Rally-O, Herding participants as well as Showing Diva's.

We have endeavoured to outcross to the best of our ability, incorporating bloodlines from successful kennels in Sweden, Australia, Finland, Ireland, UK, New Zealand and are pleased to have been able to produce Swedish Vallhund puppies of quality and type.

We are now taking a break from breeding until 2013/2014 to concentrate on our lovely up and coming young dogs.

Puppies bred at Vanaheim are the result of a lot of planning and research,  every litter is carefully planned to try to ensure that the overall health of the puppies is paramount. Puppies are bred with the intention to continue my lines as well as being much loved family pets who share in our daily lives.
Our puppies are born and raised inside our home where they can hear and become use to normal household sounds.  We also expose our puppies to a range of low level noises using Sound Therapy CD's, these cover area's like fireworks and babies crying.

 

Temperaments are very important to us so we try to ensure that every litter is bred to produce stable, friendly natures.

 

Here at Vanaheim health and soundness are a priority, with this in mind my breeding dogs are Vet Checked, Hip Scored and Clear Eye Certified a by Specialist Vet.

 

Puppies go to their new homes between the ages of eight to nine weeks with their vaccination certificate, general information on socializing and training your puppy and a small bag of food that your puppy has been raised on.  We endeavour to provide ongoing help and guidance with your puppy throughout its life.

 

Pet Puppies: A pet puppy is defined by that very term Pet! This does not mean there is any less quality with regards to health and temperament, the only difference is that as the ''buyer'' you have no interest showing or breeding and are just interested in a wonderful family pet.  Pet Puppies are occasionally available to loving family homes and are registered with the NZKC on a Limited Pet Register, please note desexing contracts apply. This is done with the best interest for the puppy's future.

 

Show Puppies: Vanaheim sometimes has available Show Quality puppies to existing exhibiters or to people who are interested in the hobby of dog showing.
