We are a small reputable kennel located in the South Island of  New Zealand dedicated to breeding healthy, quality, sound  Swedish Vallhunds.
Having fallen in love with their intelligence, loyality, trainability and ancient viking history, we have set our aims towards retaining this breed's many qualities not only for the show ring but also for the family home.  Vastgotaspets or Swedish Vallhunds as they are more commonly known are still a rare breed not only in NZ but throughout the world today.

Here at Vanaheim we are proud to present our Champions, Multi Class in Group & National Show Class in Group Winning Vasgotaspets.  We have incorporated a number of imported bloodlines from Swedish, Finnish, English, Irish, Australian and NZ kennels. 

 

We Hip Score and Eye Test our dogs and are registered with the NZKC.

Our dogs are cherished members of our family who live inside with us and share in our numerous family activities.
